How do you calculate a weight for an athlete?
To calculate a weight for an exercise requires several things to be inputted. First, the athlete needs to have a max for the exercise you are trying to calculate a weight from. Second, the exercise you are assigning needs to have a "Calculate Weight From" Max assigned. For example, back squat may come from a back squat 1rm, or front squat may calculate a weight to use from a back squat 1rm. Third, the exercise needs to have a % assigned to it to calculate FROM the designated max. For example, if you are calculating a back squat weight for an athlete, you may put it at 100% of back squat 1RM. This would calculate the max for that exercise based off 100% of the back squat 1RM. But if you wanted to calculate a weight for a front squat based off your back squat 1RM, you may set it at 70% of your back squat 1RM.
In the second scenario, if the athlete had a 200lb back squat max, it would calculate a front squat max weight for that athlete at 140lbs.
Finally, the set and rep scheme needs to have a % in it. If it does not, it will calculate the weight at 0%, or no weight.
