What are Metrics, and how do they feed into reports?
Metrics is the Strength Coach Pro method of testing and tracking test results.
When building a program, you can drag in a metric block whenever you want the athlete to record a test result. For example, if on a 4 week program, you want the athlete to record a new back squat 5RM on week 4 - you would go to the program builder, drag in your metric block wherever you want the metric to be placed, and select back squat 5RM (or create it if you haven't yet). You would then check the "show on week 4" option, finish the program, save it and assign it to the athletes you want to have it.
WHen your athletes pull up the program, when they are on that specific day in week 4, they will see an option to enter their metric result - in this case a back squat 5RM. When they do this, it will automatically update their profile metrics, and show up on their individual and team reports as a metric test result.
